Ok, I have seen some discussion concerning connect/disconnect announcements, but most of it was concerning Echolink/IRLP. Don't know if this has been discussed before, but what I would like to do, is turn off node connect/disconnect announcements. It would be great to do it "selectively" (i.e macro or system command) I want all other announcements to work (i.e. *7, *81, etc) Reason is, if I have several nodes (right now 6) connected as perm links, it takes forever to "say" they are connected or disconnected when I do a site normal, etc. Beeps are ok....
