Re: [App_rpt-users] Echolink
Sorry for the slow response, I've been out of town. Put telemdefault=2 under your node stanza, not the telemetry stanza. ie... [1999] telemdefault=2 -- Tim :wq On Nov 25, 2011, at 4:12 AM, Lu Vencl wrote:
Ok, I thing I understand. So I put this in under my current telemetry entry [telemetry] telemdefault=2 It however does not seem to work according to the value specified in the docs..
But it seems like it broke my courtesy beeps configuration now oddly enough.

No, not just anywhere. Stanzas are parts of an Asterisk file denoted by square brackets []. See http://ohnosec.org/drupal/node/39
So, the node stanza is the part of the rpt.conf file after [your node number] and before the next set of square brackets.
Hope that helps. Have a Happy Thanksgiving. -- Tim :wq

Tim. Sorry I guess I am not well educated in this. So I just add a line anywhere in the file? Happy Thanksgiving

You'll need to add it to the node stanza of rpt.conf. -- Tim :wq

Timed telemetry will announce when you initiate a connection and for a short time thereafter. Incoming connections are not announced except when one happens to come in during the timeout period. -- Tim :wq

If I don't want to have all Echolink incoming connections announced, is there a way to have outgoing connections announced? If I set Echolink telemetry to timed, how does that work?
