Commenting out the line below in /etc/rc.c/rc.local stopped "[extnodes]" from printing on my console. Time will tell if it stopped the kernel panic too. /etc/rc.d/rc.updatenodelist & -- Tim :wq Begin forwarded message:

My CentOS console it printing "[extnodes]" every 15 minutes or so. Anybody know what that means and is related to my system crashing every few days? -- Tim :wq
