Angelo, See corrections below to your usbradio.conf file for the changes you need to make. From: app_rpt-users-bounces@ohnosec.org [mailto:app_rpt-users-bounces@ohnosec.org] On Behalf Of Angelo Glorioso Sent: Monday, December 22, 2014 8:51 AM To: APP RPT Subject: [App_rpt-users] USBRado Happy Holidays All!! We are trying to get a node back up after reformatting the hard drive and we are not having much luck. We are wrired according to the web site to a URI and a Motorola GM300 for a simplex node going to a repeater. The rig: Motorola GM300 Wired as follows and verified: Radius/Maxtrac series with 16 pin accessory connector - Simplex - Processed audio URI 20 - Radius 7 URI 21 - Radius 11 URI 22 - Radius 2 URI 1 - Radius 3 URI 8 - Radius 8 (COR/CTCSS Det.) Radius Must be programmed to output COR/CTCSS det. on pin 8 of accessory connector, and JU551 in position 'B' (de-emphasized audio out). We have no problem with the transmit audio, but we are unable to get any type of recieve audio into the URI unless we we select no CTSSS tone. If this setting the COS/audio never drops at all. Says keyed up. The radio is set for 103.5pl both transmit and receive. Here is our USBRADIO.CONF. Any help would be appreciated. [general] [usb41456] hdwtype=0 rxboost=1 txboost=1 rxctcssrelax=1 txctcssdefault=103.5 rxctcssfreqs=103.5 txctcssfreqs=103.5 ;rxctcssoverride=0 carrierfrom=usbinvent (this is correct if you have your radio programmed to an active low signal for COR/CTCSS detect) If your radio is progammed for COR/CTCSS active high you will need to change to =USB. You need to know how the radio is programmed. ctcssfrom=dsp (Change this to = no) You're not using DSP to detect CTCSS or COR as you are using de-emphasised audio from the radio. rxdemod=speaker txprelim=yes txlimonly=no txtoctype=notone txmixa=composite txmixb=no invertptt=0 duplex=0 rxondelay=0 rxnoisefiltype=0 eeprom=0 These changes should do the trick. Do not forget to restart app_rpt for the changes in this file to take effect. 73 Marshall - ke6pcv
Should not the line: carrierfrom=usbinvent be usbinvert or usb (as the hardware dictates?) 73, Dave VE7MQ. --- This email has been checked for viruses by Avast antivirus software. http://www.avast.com
