DIAL Download site (dvswitch.org) offline
Anyone know why dvswitch.org (the official download site for Dial images) is offline? I was trying to download RAT_RC1 from there last night, and was unsuccessful. Thanks to some Google searching, I found a copy of it available from Loren Tedford's site voipham.com (at least I think that's Loren's site), so I could get my Pi node reinstalled. Jeremy, NQ0M
Yes, It is down. I am migrating to a new hosting provider. The links will be updated. Sorry for the problem. Steve N4IRS On 07/08/2017 07:56 PM, Jeremy Utley wrote:

As I said before, DVSwitch is having a outage. I am changing providers. In the future we will maintain 2 different DownLoad locations. In the meantime, Corey, N3FE has donated space on a solid provider. The main AllStarLink page will be updated. In the meantime here is one of the new locations: <http://3102.repeater.net/AllStarLink/> 73, Steve N4IRS On 07/08/2017 07:56 PM, Jeremy Utley wrote:

What provider did you go with? David KE6UPI -- Thanks, David "Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes. The AllStarLink image files are now available at <http://3102.repeater.net/AllStarLink/> thanks to Corey N3FE The download links have been updated to point to the new location. Thanks to Mike KB8ZGL at Virtual Systems, I am moving dvswitch.org and the AllStarLink image mirror to a new state of the art data center. The new IP address is for dvswitch.org is 44.103.32.18 I will be moving the DNS entries and adding the mirror of the image files. This will be a work in progress over the next week. We would love to create a forwarding link to Crompton's site however after release of the site I was told that i was degrading the product.. As listed below.. After the release to the public we did visit hamvoip.com to see if it was anything close to our site and it was not at the time.. We also noted that improper forwarding techniques were applied and it just seemed like a forward to Cromptons main domain.. Jeremy I'm very sorry I kind of snapped yesterday really bad day overall lots of doctors appointments and family issues going on. However I really wanted to clear up the other website Crompton's site to make sure everyone knows that I am not affiliated with it.. Please forgive me if I sound a little harsh last night because that was not the intent if it's just the correct. Hopefully after your last night's post I won't hear any more about threatening letters or things of that nature and maybe some of my phone calls will stop that I get. Thanks again and I'm very sorry if I came across a little harsh. Dont let the other guy bully you.. If he wanted the name he just had to reserved it.. If he want it that bad, let him know your price ;-) nothing lower then 7 figure and starting by a 9, think this would be about right ;-) Le mer. 12 juil. 2017 à 12:53, Loren Tedford <lorentedford@gmail.com> a écrit :
Jeremy I'm very sorry I kind of snapped yesterday really bad day overall lots of doctors appointments and family issues going on. However I really wanted to clear up the other website Crompton's site to make sure everyone knows that I am not affiliated with it.. Please forgive me if I sound a little harsh last night because that was not the intent if it's just the correct. Hopefully after your last night's post I won't hear any more about threatening letters or things of that nature and maybe some of my phone calls will stop that I get.
Thanks again and I'm very sorry if I came across a little harsh.

Now.. At the time of purchase we had no knowledge that Crompton's site
was
hamvoip.com.. We purchased voipham.com about 8 weeks before releasing it to the public.. The purpose was to chat about everything voice over ip related.. Like a third party provider link..
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B1OnQtMWFhtcV2Z4NDBrY3J6RkE/view?usp=sharin...
Now moving forward.. I have no issue with Crompton or his images but
after
reading his emails I wish to stay clear of his versions of allstar.. Like I said i created voipham.com for one purpose and that was to help support other ham operators in the hobby and create a forum base where others can search and find maybe what they are looking for.. Also the idea was maybe to post videos and if allstarlink wanted a backup repo for allstarlink as a just in case event since I host multiple sites for many projects across the board..
Now you all know that I am a YL operator just trying to help out other hams and mean no harm.. However I will continue hosting my site regardless of the threatening emails i get regarding my site.. Also I would like to ask again if their is some thing i can help with.
Thanks again!

Anyone know why dvswitch.org (the official download site for Dial images) is offline? I was trying to download RAT_RC1 from there last night, and was unsuccessful. Thanks to some Google searching, I found a copy of it available from Loren Tedford’s site voipham.com (at least I think that’s Loren’s site), so I could get my Pi node reinstalled.

The AllStarLink image file links have been updated to point to <http://3102.repeater.net/AllStarLink/> thanks to Corey N3FE. Thanks to Mike KB8ZGL at Virtual Systems, I have moved dvswitch.org to a new state of the art data center. The new IP address is for dvswitch.org is 44.103.32.18 I have moved the DNS entries and replaced the mirror of some of the image files. This is still a work in progress. We will update the links to reflect both locations so this type of outage should not happen again. On 7/11/2017 7:34 AM, ARS W5OMR wrote:
