This is what I do : In rpt.conf : Add this into the part where "function=" and such occur : startup_macro=*8404 ;Set PL encode on COR (or if you have an existing startup_macro tag the *8404 onto the end) And this into your function stanza: 8403=cop,59 ;TX PL on Input only Disable 8404=cop,58 ;TX PL on Input ONLY ENABLE On startup the function will be executed. Or you can turn it on/off at any time with DTMF. When you execute cop,58, PL is only encoded when a valid COR (either from the radio or the network) is received.
