Simpleusb needs a COR and optionally a PL line from your radio. Here are the steps to switch. Of course you may want to rename rather than delete at steps 2 and 3.

1. copy /usr/src/astsrc/configs/simpleusb/simpleusb.conf to /etc/asterisk/ 2. delete /etc/asterisk/usbradio* 3. delete /etc/init.d/usbradio 4. touch /etc/init.d/simpleusb 5. edit /etc/asterisk/rpt.conf rxchannel=SimpleUSB/usb 6. reboot

Yup did try boost or no boost, flat audio, ect..

Can you tell me how an I switch to simpleusb from usbradio?

I don't know anything about the IC3200A but some radios just won't work with usbradio. Did you try setting rxboost in usbradio.conf? It that's no help then you may need to use simpleusb rather than usbradio. -- Tim :wq

No mater how I try I cant adjust my node to work with a small ic 3200A as my radio.

Got direct connection to the discriminator, same for modulator, and I got my self a cor signal..

Its all working perfectly with my old sound card on my win xp echolink node..

when I connect this to my URI I have to use the lowest possible setting for txvoice and txtone but its ok..

when I try to do rxnoise, it allways fail.

from time to time I will have the rxtone pass, but it wont detect station that are more then 10 miles from the radio.. and for rxvoice , it will work ok if rxtone worked..

I did all this setup on a Ic-706 mkIIg and all was so easy..

or Should I start back from scratch? and how do I do it?
