Hi all, I have seen on the app-rpt site a list of radio unit supported: Dumb (Any radio, with no remote tuning capability) 1. Kenwood TMG-707A 2. Kenwoood TM-271 3. Yaesu FT-897D 4. Icom IC-706 Is that actually correct? What do you suggest for testing the functionality? Those are the supported radio for a 'remote base'. Is that what you are trying to accomplish?? Hi, I am trying to move as a novice my first steps in this world. If I understood correctly you can setup a "remote base" or a "repeater", with app_rpt. Is that right? I can imagine the repeater functionality, but not so much about the remote base. There is any place I can understand better such concepts? yeah. what you want is a 'repeater' node. Therefore any decent amateur radio that has access to decent audio and control inputs/outputs will do nicely.
