iaxRpt is a good alternative to the Web Transceiver. http://www.xelatec.com/xipar/iaxrpt -- Tim :wq

Thanks for the info.. I re booted the router and either it was that or just luck but it's back showing. But i don't think the router was the problem as everything else was working. WEird.

It's probably something with the web transceiver. It's pretty much a piece of junk. It won't run at all on some computers. No one knows why. It's really unfortunate, it's so visible, it gives people a bad impression Allstar it does not deserve.
One of the great things about Linux is that you seldom have to reinstall or reboot to fix things. Something is intermittent with the Web transceiver and the reinstall was probably not what fixed it.

Hello all. I re installed allstarlink centos software and that got the Web Trans working. Tonight I was on a net connected to my node that is connected to our repeater during net time via the web trans and it all of a sudden disconnected, but the echolink stations that were connected were not booted off and the net finished i thought it was my computer so i rebooted and tried the web trans and my node wasn't listed, I then rebooted the ALLSTAR box and still nothing.. Has anyone had this problem or do i need to re install the software?
Thanks for any help

These are the Asterisk settings: http://www.xelatec.com/xipar/node/89 The client settings aren't clearly explained anywhere that I could find. It took me a while to realize that the stanza, the [gui] in the above example, is the iaxRpt client user ID. Also, you can have more than one user ID by putting more than one stanza in iax.conf: [user1] type=user context=radio-gui auth=md5 secret=xxxxxxx callerid=0 disallow=all allow=ulaw allow=gsm notransfer=yes [user2] type=user context=radio-gui auth=md5 secret=yyyyyyy callerid=0 disallow=all allow=ulaw allow=gsm notransfer=yes -- Tim :wq On Apr 20, 2012, at 5:30 AM, Kevin Custer wrote:
