Hi group,
Been trying to set up my Beagle/LOX combo but have been having some issues.
Anyway, been accessing it via a serial cable and PuTTY, been playing with the config, nodesetup and everything has been going as well as it could, until I shut it down one night, got up the next morning with a fresh mind, fired up the gear, plugged in the serial cable, clicked on server, download config, initiate in the Portal and the response I got was ? Sorry, your server does not have any downloadable nodes ( Register Only ) ?
Does anyone understand what this message is, why am I getting it. Didn?t think that whatever parameters I put in the Portal and downloaded to the Beagle would corrupt it, so why is it now telling me I have no downloadable nodes, I don?t understand, I have had no problems for the past year that I have been playing with this thing.
To make matters worse, I can?t log in to my Beagle with PuTTY either, I enter the Com port and baud rate and all I get is a blank screen, can do nothing with it so I guess this also has something to do with me not being able to configure my Beagle through the Portal.
Anyone got any thoughts please.
Thanks. Ron VK3ANT
Ahh. no... that "solution", in fact, would probably be in the category of "Incongruous, July 4 1776"... :-) That is an error which means that your stuff in the portal is not configured for providing download-able configuration data. You need to have the parameters and information for your server(s)/node(s) set up with VALID and APPROPRIATE information, so that it can be downloaded, IF you want to do it that way. Otherwise, you dont need to download from the portal. Jim

I have changed from DHCP at home to a repeater site with Static Ip addresses. I have run the system-config-network and changed the ip address, the gateway, the network mask. I have gone into the DNS entries as well. It seens there is not route in the kernal. When I try and tracertoute to an outside ithe network, I get network unreachable. It seems the route is missing.. Any help would be appreciate it. I am still at the site.. 7 3 de Angelo --------------------------------------------------------- If you don't ask, you will never know!!
