I've been taught that in a simulcast system we cannot use an external controller. In our case an Arcom RC-210. It has crossed our mind that that if we use a remote base with a RC-210 attached to it we can link in our weather receiver, our earthquake detector, and satellite receivers located in fringe areas for HT access. This would be just like any mobile accessing the system except that it would be passing audio from external devices. Is this a doable workaround? Thank you and Merry Christmas!
