With IE try clicking the compatibility icon, the little broken page symbol. Lee In a message dated 12/27/2013 9:13:35 P.M. Who has the access to change the web page? I have tried this using every current browser that I could find to download and I have tried it on win-xp, win-vista, win-7, win-8, linux, sun, HPUX. they each fail. none of them work. Someone was going to look into it but I not heard anything more. No, you can't enter them manually and yes, you don't need to enter them to establish a server. The problem is the map does not work on many browser configurations. I have tried Chrome, Explorer, and Firefox with no luck but a few others have had some success. In general it is a problem. I think probably the intent was to make you use the map to avoid errors. Since the map does not work well some can't enter the values. 73 Doug WA3DSP http://www.crompton.com/hamradio ____________________________________ From: _mike@midnighteng.com_ (mailto:mike@midnighteng.com) To: _App_rpt-users@ohnosec.org_ (mailto:App_rpt-users@ohnosec.org) Date: Fri, 27 Dec 2013 18:26:21 -0700 Subject: Re: [App_rpt-users] Latitude/longitude You know, you're right, you can't enter them as I remember (I think I tried that also). At this point, you do not have to enter them to get your set-up. Just go past that part of set-up and when things are working again, you can go back and enter them. It will not prevent you from continuing. At least it let me set-up my second server and get some new nodes without it. Perhaps someone knows what's-up with the website/portal and can shed some light on when. ...mike/kb8jnm -------- Original Message -------- Subject: Re: [App_rpt-users] Latitude/longitude From: Sam Nabkey <_sam.nabkey@gmail.com_ (mailto:sam.nabkey@gmail.com) > Date: Fri, December 27, 2013 7:29 pm To: _mike@midnighteng.com_ (mailto:mike@midnighteng.com) Doesn't help to get the coordinates manually because I can't find a way to enter them. Can you shed some light on how that might be done? My guess was that, as happens from time to time, google changed the way their interface works and the website needs updated. I could be wrong. But I would not do anything rash as I don't think it's a problem on your end. There is a way to go to google manually and get your lat/log coordinates from a map.
