Rxondelay in SimpleUsb
Good morning all, I have been trying to set the rxondelay in the simpleusb to different values. No matter what value I put in, it seems the behavior does not change. I remember reading a while back that function may not be compiled standard release. I am running the new version of ASL. I think the release was in April of this year. Can anyone confirm this? 73 de Angelo
At this point in time, I'm not positive I remember the workings of rxondelay but... As I remember it, it is just a minimum value of time in miliseconds of a active cor before it validates in the software as a valid cor. I don't know if that helps but I seem to remember folks thinking it did something else many years ago so I thought I might brush on that. I also think there may have been issues under certain duplex modes but that is where my brain is probably fried...LOL... Anyway, what is the issue that you feel you need to use it in the first place? ...mike/kb8jnm On 8/3/2018 8:04 AM, Angelo wrote:

Actually found this on the old drupal site: ;rxondelay=20 ; Uncomment and/or adjust for simplex nodes to eliminate "Ping ; Ponging" or "Relay Racing". ; A positive value here will instruct the usbradio driver to ignore ; the COR line for a specified number of 20mSec intervals following ; the release of PTT. Use this only on simplex nodes, and ; leave commented out for repeaters or other full duplex nodes. So, it has no effect on duplex modes. Perhaps there is hope for my brain...LOL... ...mike/kb8jnm On 8/3/2018 8:04 AM, Angelo wrote:
