Re: [App_rpt-users] good morning , DMK URiX interface loss of, connectivity
Mike, I can't speak to the version of Linux and Asterisk you are running on the BBB if it is from hamvoip.org. On the BBBs I run I use Debian Wheezy now, moving to Jessie soon. If you continue to have problems you may want to try Debian. 73, Steve N4IRS On 5/18/2015 12:00 PM, app_rpt-users-request@ohnosec.org wrote:

I have havd several all star nodes up and running using the DMK URIx interfaces each connected to thier own BeagleBone Black. Normally I see the green light on the URIx blinking at me. In the past few months I have seen where the light stops blinking. some times pulling the USB for 10 seconds and plugging it back in solves the problem. worse case a full reboot of the system. . now its only getting worse instead of better. and almost daily issue. I thought about the watchdog idea. but it monitors the read write to a file if I remember correctly. is it possible to rewrite the watchdog to monitor the pulses of the URI instead and act on the loss of pulses from the URI
