Hi, I decided to reinstall the whole thing since I couldn't get it to work properly. I couldn't get through the install script, it was asking for my user id and password for the portal towards the end. It would not take the password so it said something about failed and went to the login prompt. What script runs the install part towards the end of the install? I tried the portal but no luck. I tried running asterisk but it goes into an endless loop with an error "asterisk ended with a exit 1 status". How do I proceed from here? tnx, Greg
If the system is having trouble talking to your fob it will throw off a lot of error messages and may even crash before you can get logged on the first time (so you won't see the error messages) Do you have a known good working fob? Does your computer have a known good USB2 port? Ken

For all, This is my experience. If you use special characters in your password for portal access, the install script will not work. When I changed my password to use only letters and numbers, the install script worked. Good luck. Chris KB2FAF On 8/26/2010 8:44 PM, Ken wrote:
