Is there a way to offset the time when the Server has a two RTCM’s in the Pacific Time Zone then another one located in another times zone so the announcements are correct?
I believe the time zone is set at the shell level (read that as server, not node level). Asking the question differently... Is there an issue with setting up a second server, then linking the nodes in both servers to accomplish the same purpose? The servers may require different Allstar ports for forwarding through the router, or might the remote time zone node use a local (non-Allstar) node, hosted by the primary server that hosts the others? The RTCM, per se, has no settable timezone. It is always operating in GMT (per GPS). I think what you *REALLY* wanted to ask was: Is there a way to have different timezones in different nodes in app_rpt? The answer is yes: in the node stanza in rpt.conf, use the timezone= parameter Jim From: w6reb@hammradio.us To: app_rpt-users@ohnosec.org Date: Fri, 13 Jun 2014 11:41:44 -0700 Subject: [App_rpt-users] RTCM Time Is there a way to offset the time when the Server has a two RTCM’s in the Pacific Time Zone then another one located in another times zone so the announcements are correct? _______________________________________________ App_rpt-users mailing list App_rpt-users@ohnosec.org http://ohnosec.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/app_rpt-users To unsubscribe from this list please visit http://ohnosec.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/app_rpt-users and scroll down to the bottom of the page.
