New ASL v 1.0.1 not connecting to any HUB or Node
Can someone on the group lent me a hand. I installed the new ASL v 1.0.1 on a RasPi 3 and on a x86 machine. Everything installed fine but on both nodes I cannot get then to connect to any particular external node or HUB. I did run the System Diagnotics Menu from A to I and everything is been reported to be working without any problem. My network is a AT&T Home Base 4G LTE wireless router. No port forwarding allowed. BTW.. a Debian DIAL version on RasPi connect and works ok on this network. Do not know if I an missing something else to check. Regards, 73' Alberto KP4AP

Check DNS servers in your router then server. Then verify your entire network config in your server. Reboot it all after any changes, test again. But your problem 'may' be DNS from AT&T - LTE. In your case, you may need to revert to google dns, but I would resist that if possible. Without port forwarding, you will likely only have outbound connects. Hi Alberto, from the raspberry pi or the x86 machine can you ping outside of your local network? Like: ping 8.8.8.8. ? If yes, can you ping www.google.com ? If it does not work. That would point to either A: a badly programmed network maybe bad netmask or bad gateway. Or B: wrong DNS settings. Can you come back with the result?
