Might have changed the renew date, but not online application. In April, 2016 I made application for 2 repeater pairs on FRC site. It went well, got fast reply from our District 4 Director, next day. One rejected, one accepted. But did take a long time to get final approval I think FRC wanted me to be on the air so could look to hear of any issues. Probably good way to work it.
Been a while since I renewed my repeaters. So maybe they changed policy a while ago. It was confusing with odd even year issue, so had to keep watch on the list. When one has more than one repeater all could not have been done at once. thanks for the info.
Leon,
The odd even renewal year has been the way FRC did in past. I've been doing for over 20 years. It was confusing. The FRC would list exp date, MM/DD/YYYY on the repeater listing.
Good if they have changed, but now they will get lots of renewals all at once and this usually means they will not act on it for months, but then again maybe it will be automatically done for their site.
I've been working with repeaters and FRC for over 20 years, since early 90s. They are very good coordinating group, one just needs to know how to deal with them, hi.
