Thanks Joseph! I am anxious, I'm already installing my mobile radio and antenna on my van and picked up an Icom DSTAR HT in anticipation and for motivation. I'd run up there Wed, but I'm traveling up to Baltimore/Annapolis Tues thru Thursday for work. I'll be taking practice tests all week on my flights and in my hotel room at night 😆 Got to love the smartphone study apps. I wonder if I can buy an electronic version of one of the arrl study books so I can dig deeper on some if the questions. hmmmmm off to Amazon I go. Herb, Congratulations! There is a Dstar repeater in Tampa on 443.425, +5MHz. Matt, KA9RIX can give some advice on this as he's into Dstar Ryan, KJ4SHL has a DMR repeater in St Pete and another in Tampa near TPA. I don't have the frequencies off hand, but he should be able to post them here. I'm into P25 and our 900 MHz repeater is linked on P25 now.

Is there a DV Elmer in the house? I have coffee and cookies, and adult beverages for that additional push ;-)
