Jim's email, mentioning the necessity of adding the chan_usbradio.o and
chan_usbradio.so lines to the asterisk/channels/Makefile, brings a 'gotcha'
to mind:

Besides being contained in Jim's email, the additional Makefile instructions
are also in the 'Using A Modified USB Sound Fob With App_rpt' document.

One might be tempted to append the additions to the Makefile by means of
'cut and paste'.

If you use a Microsoft email client or word processor to do the 'cutting', a
corruption may occur.  Specifically, the leading hyphen in '-lasound' may be
brought into Vim (or your Linux editor) as a Microsoft 'en dash' (0x96). 

This will provide lots of entertainment as the compilation proceeds.

The previous hyphen in 'LIBS+=-lusb' is not corrupted, due to being in the
middle of a string.
