<-- Hi Steve; Yes, I have seen that and do have 'txtoctype=notone' the 
problem is the slow response time of the decoders in most amateur 
transceivers - i.e., we still hear a squelch crash on the receiver.  So 
my question is whether the timing between drop of PL and drop of carrier 
is user configurable?

As I write this note (sitting on the train), I wonder whether the value 
of unkeywait in the wait-times stanza in rpt.conf would extend the delay...
