[App_rpt-users] app_rpt install on Kubuntu

I have a PC running the latest version of Kubuntu, which I also use for a DVAP dongle.

I also have a DMK URI for use with app_rpt. Is it possible to build app_rpt on this type of system? I've done some research and found this http://rtpdir.weebly.com/uploads/1/6/8/7/1687703/app_rpt_howto.pdf but not certain if it's out of date.
