[App_rpt-users] Confirmation of disconnection, DTMF function lists

But like we're not talking about an *entire* command list necessarily, its just the basic commands
needed to make the 'Allstar' thing happen. Each node owner is given a 'free-form' field to add
whatever else they want, but its really just for the basic commands that should be available to
all as a result of being an Allstar node to begin with. At least that's the intent.

Our group has "telemetry" turned off and we do not announce connect/disconnect. Now I do not know which node you noticed this on, but the function is there as Jim stated.
As for the DMTF command list. I for one do NOT want the DMTF codes available to ANYONE especially those not registered. It is a security issue, plain and simple. There are functions that each repeater owner implements, and you do NOT need access to alot of it. You want to publish your commands, good for you, but being in the rptr building biz since the late 70's I have learned that there are "players" out there and they do not need toys to have access to.

dude, I have NO idea what you are talking about.

1. From day 1 of this software there always has been an announcement
when a link disconnects.

2. The function list works just fine from external reference without a portal

login session active. For example:

https://allstarlink.org/portal/dtmf_functionlist.php?node=2001
