[App_rpt-users] app-rpt with external repeater controller possible?

This all started as a project for a slightly different purpose, but when given the need
I realized that with very little difference, it could do this quite well. The initial prototype
boards for this have a little boo-boo on them, and I really want a chance to run new boards
that have the boo-boo fixed, and have the option for the board to be in either its original
mode, or the new mode (which is what you want it for). The board is fully layed out
but needs someone passionate about it to fund another board run (about $175.00).
Then, I will announce it as a "legitimate" project (with, docs, pictures, schematics,
etc).

Are you interested in maybe helping with this? It will not only benefit you, but will
make this available to the community in general in a reasonable manner.

Sounds great. Where can I find more information on this board/project?
Sound just like what I need for another project.

Not necessarily. We have a simple board (user-buildable project) that does that very nicely.
I you have a standalone repater already hooked up to a controller this board can be put
in-between them and it makes it into a very nice adjunct.

Is it possible to use a repeaters external controller and just use app-rpt for it's linking capabilities?
I'm guessing there would be no way of avoiding the repeater id's and messages being sent out to any linked repeater nodes.
