You have to wait (some amount) of time for asterisk to download the list 
of authenticated end-points.  It's not instantaneous when you start the 
client if you're trying to go direct from the client to the node.

So, configure your node to use a well-known proxy, and you should go 
right in.

Otherwise, wait 5 minutes after starting your client and authenticating 
to the echolink auth server.  Asterisk will pick up the new list and 
then let you in.
