[App_rpt-users] Using SVN copy of Asterisk on RaspberryPi (and "usb.h")

Aye, I agree. I'd pay a couple of Meg more download just to have it
and avoid problems like this. Justification: "Its an embedded
platform, and you won't need..." Uh? Did I miss the point? Its an
embedded LINUX platform, and source is available, so you need source.

Its a concept thats being sorely missed in Down Under at the moment
too mate, let me assure you...! However, to continue working while I'm
on my trip to Sydney, and because this isn't a big tower I'm using,
like a PC or Mac, I'll be dragging the RPi along with me and hooking
it up to the motel rooms HDTV. Commercial TV programming? I can't
stand commercial TV =P

I calculate it'll be the side of a larger previous generation laptop,
complete with the 13.8VDC 23Amp power supply. I couldn't be bothered
finding a 2Amp USB power supply for the Pi, and I may need the 13.8VDC
up my sleeve.

Many thanks for your help so far, and lets hope the RPi people get
back to me in short order, and with a solution that doesn't eat my 1GB
GPRS/ EDGE allowance while I'm away. Then again, there *is* wifi at
the motel, but I don't control that network... obsessive need for
control, I know... ^.~
