[App_rpt-users] Using SVN copy of Asterisk on RaspberryPi (and "usb.h")

You're absolutely right, or I would've thought so. I also understand,
this is a fast moving target, so things may not be in line with each
other - but literally crippling the platform? The first thing someone
is going to want to do is compile a kernel, or so I would've thought.
It *is* a hackers platform, after all.

I've got access to a git repo, but I just want to clone the "kernel"
directory, since I'm on a download limited 3G connection, and I've
probably burned at least a quarter of it downloading various things
already, I'm conscious of my download limit. And the whole git looked
like over 200Meg. Plus I only have an 8GB microSD card in the Pi, ok,
I might have 3GB up my sleeve, but even thats not enough for my
paranoid self.

Additionally, Jim, I looked at the RTCMs and showed my friend Andrew.
Now I've resolved to get two early next year, along with some GPS
clocks and the like, and set up a voting system with the base stations
800m apart connected by long shot wifi. The wifi works, tested it
before I pulled it down. I know a vote over 800m is pitiful, but I
have unfettered access to both properties (ones mine, the others my
Mums).

Of course, it'll be a "work in progress" there for a while, and I
won't be able to get my slate PC until April... but my Macbook Air is
still going strong - I'm sure I told you all I got IAXRpt working
under WiNE with sound... thats pretty nifty, I was never much more
glad to hear an error tone in my life!

Thanks again guys - lets see if the RPi people come to the party...
I've posed my question on the forums of course. If anyone here has
some tips on cloning a single directory out of a git repo though, I'm
all ears... ^.~

Doesn't just mean the unmodified source, but the source for any modifications that were made, also falling under the GPL. No?
