[App_rpt-users] Same Old Problem With Node

Server may be running low on authentication sauce.

So why wont my node register after sitting for 4 hours after a reboot??? And being able to ping the registration server? And the node being on the DMZ of my router?

Continuing problem. Node will not register. Any ideas?  And yes, all of the passwords are correct. I’ll reboot and see if this helps.

Your config files seem okay.  Your system seems to have good connectivity.  Your udp 4569 inbound is working fine.  But your system is not registering with 67.215.233.178:4569<http://67.215.233.178:4569> as it needs to.

The system is not registered, this may be due to having a wrong password in the iax.conf file.
re-verify the password (number)
login to the  allstarlink.org<http://allstarlink.org> web site and from the menus pick...
node
node configuration
YourServerName
Node: 28238

Make sure the password shown here is the same as configured in the iax.conf file.

If the password numbers match, which I think they do, then there must be a problem with the registration server relating to your node.

Jim Duuuude might need to take a look at this because if you are not registered then you will not be able to download the list of nodes and your node will not be included in the list that other nodes download.  This will prevent connectivity to other nodes from working.

One other thing.  I noticed you are running version 0.287 08/26/2011, I am running version 0.304 05/09/2012.
I don't think this would cause this problem but you should probably upgrade to the latest version.
