[App_rpt-users] compile and install app_rpt from source?

especially if you want to keep your family and/or other members of your
household (phone system users) from wanting to beat the *!#$ out of you
for re-starting the switch in the middle of a phone call because you changed
something or had problems with your radio stuff.

App_rpt does not use the standard version of Asterisk. I have an existing asterisk/freepbx install on ubuntu which i use for the home phone system and would like to get app_rpt going on it as well. I'm not seeing clear instructions on which files/source to grab and where to install. Any suggestions?
