it's not that they won't work, just that you can't run them at the full monty.  crank back the power, and use some fans to keep the air moving past the sink.

i used a pair of 235s for 6 months when my micor went tango uniform, at half power, external comm amp to get the power up, and they worked just fine.

you just have to understand that they are not rated for continuous duty, especially at full power, but can get you going or fill in a pinch.
