[App_rpt-users] limey linux and parallel ports

Well before you totally give up on limey which I use and I don't think my
board is on the supported list, did you re-check the file to see if it
still has the PP setting additions you made?
I had an issue a while back with a board trying to access the PP  and
someone asked me the same question.  Since limey runs from memory, make
sure after you make changes to your file, do the command, svcfg.
This will write any changes to the CF card.  That is what I was missing in
the beginning.  After a reboot, my config file went back to the original
which did not have the PP parameters I had set since it kept reloading the
file from the CF card into memory.
Also, the board I am using now has about a 1.5G CPU  with 512Megs of RAM
and so far, I haven't had any audio issues.  I may upgrade at some point
since Im getting more into mini-itx machines and they are getting more
powerful these days.
Try that before you give up.
