More recent versions of the URI have an "E" appended to the end of the
serial number (white paper sticker)

Alternatively, with the CLI up and the URI running, you can unplug the USB
cable and re-plug it

With no EEPROM, you will get a message like this (below) saying you have no
EEPROM
