[App_rpt-users] Static IP Setup

there are two ways as [root@~]
system-config-network
setup

upon change your settings, restart your network service, or reboot if you like

ifconfig eth0 down
ifconfig eth0 up

(note) for those installing ACID for the first time, It's best to use DHCP

What's the command to set the IP address 

I have googled it and find 30 different ways

With red hat it was netconfig

But that command does not work in centos
