Hi Larry,

 This is the confusing part. I never did anything extra to the Asterisk install to get the SSH to work before.   

 I wonder why this install is different with Juan system??

Not trying to butt in to the help already in progress, but I have a question.

While SSH may be installed on the CentOS Computer have you forgotten configure 
sshd to allow your user account to accept your log in from the remote PC?
