[App_rpt-users] I link commands

Knowingly, the following is found in the app_rpt.c under ilink cmdc:  
* 200 thru 215 - (Send DTMF 0-9,*,#,A-D) (200=0, 201=1, 210=*, etc)
Kindly, could anyone elaborate as to what is the idea behind these functions?
