[App_rpt-users] usbradio to simpleusb

Very good. Since I'm using the same USB device, can I just copy over the
settings for simpleusb? Trying this approach because I discovered PL was
generated in the radio.

Thanks,

Bob

simpleusb as its name implies depends on the radio to do much of the work.
The PL for RX and TX must be in the radio. The radios squelch is used. So
just worry about what needs to be setup in simpleusb.

You need RX and TX audio, PTT and COS. You can select whether PTT and/or COS
are inverted. Otherwise there is not much to setup. Just run the simpleusb
audio setup and you should be good to go.

If you can use simpleusb it works very well. I use it exclusively and so do
many others I know who run Allstar. Probably the reason more people don't
run it is because usbradio is the default config and it requires a COS
signal. Some people just like complication. I do not!

When moving from usbradio to simpleusb, I noticed there are more inputs in
usbradio_tune... compared to simpleusb_tune. What is the usbradio
"rxvoiceadj," and why is it not used in simpleusb?

thanks,

Bob
