The GM300’s are a good place to start. They are very reliable for repeater use and spares won’t break the bank.

Regards,
Paul

moto gm300s. all the signals show up on the 16 pin connector on the back at the right levels, and there is beaucoup info about them on repeater-builder.com<http://repeater-builder.com/>

and you'll need a duplexer. and URI.

you can get useable gm300s for 50-75 each.

You can do it cheaper, but why reinvent the wheel?

What new or surplus radios work well with Allstar/Asterisk/DMK-URIx? I want to set up a least cost repeater so I can learn more. TIA
