[App_rpt-users] 'inexpensive' radios for a local repeater

I have quite a few 20 channel, 40 watt UHF Motorola M1225s that also would work great. I can program them too. All 1225s have 16 pin connectors on the back that are programmable.

Let me know if anyone is interested in them.

moto gm300s. all the signals show up on the 16 pin connector on the back at the right levels, and there is beaucoup info about them on repeater-builder.com

and you'll need a duplexer. and URI.

you can get useable gm300s for 50-75 each.

You can do it cheaper, but why reinvent the wheel?

What new or surplus radios work well with Allstar/Asterisk/DMK-URIx? I want to set up a least cost repeater so I can learn more. TIA
