Which Baofeng radio?

I have used the Baofeng UV-5R and it works by using the the Mic jacks for rx/tx and PTT for the COS you have to solder to pin 2 of the audio chip which is pretty tiny but can be done.

I doubt you will find much help anywhere. Baofeng radios lack COR and discriminator output so they would not be suitable for use with allstar. The only portable I know of that works is the Kenwood F6 with it mic/speaker port set for packet mode. But the duty cycle required for allstar or any repeater/remote base is fairly high and portables are not suitable for long term use.

I am looking for a circuit diagram so I can fabricate a cable to connect a URIx to a Baofeng (or pair of Baofeng's) suitable for use with ACID/Allstar. Any assistance would be useful. I have not found anything on the web thus far...
