Use this URL http://stats.allstarlink.org/getstatus.cgi?27684 to see HOW you are connected. I call it the bubble chart. It will show you a graphical representation of all the nodes connected to you. You will be able to quickly see your immediate neighbor and therefore which mode made the connection to you.
fwiw, sometimes people accidentally connect to the wrong node. Chances are their intent was not malicious.
