The node number is in rpt.conf, iax.conf, and extensions.conf - you would have to wholesale change it in all locations.

The server name is not used locally but is assigned by you at allstarlink.org - you can change it there it desired.

The node password which you get at allstarlink.org under your node information for the server you assigned is used in the registration statement in iax.conf. You specify your node number and password (6 digit number) there.

register => xxxxx:yyyyyy at register.allstarlink.org

Where xxxxx = node number and yyyyyy=password

Do not confuse your linux password, the one you enter when you log into your local system and the node password. They are two different things.

Subject: [App_rpt-users] File question

What
file is holding my Server node number, server name and node password in
Asterisk?

I
need to edit the information since I did not enter it correctly when I installed
the new os.

Thanks

Steve
