Yes, The RPi2 can be used as a low cost node to run a couple of radios / 
repeaters
If you want to build it, rather then a 1 size fits all image, you can 
download the scripts you need from:

This list is just fine to discuss ARM based AllStar installs. There are 
quite a few users here running RPi1, RPi2 and other ARM based boards. If 
you would rather use a X86 board, there is a Debian alternative to Acid 
on the way. From "bare metal" to fully functional node.
