Thank you for your help. I sure appreciate all of you. Really.

All that we did was change the location of the server. The ISP changed as a
result.

I had a lengthy conversation with Justin over the air. At first he heard me
connect but we couldn’t hear him. But then he suddenly came through. He had
packet loss / jitter some of the time but that may have been because the
location that our remote base is at uses a wireless router and xBox for
entertainment :-) At no time could we connect via the web transceiver.

It was suggested that if I suspect that a port is blocked, which Charter
Internet tells me,

"Sir, no ports are blocked. But if a port is blocked it is for security
reasons and we are not going to unblock it for you."

Hmm... OK. So is the port blocked or not? LOL.

This server worked fine on AT&T where it sat behind a router. DHCP was used
and it was connected via a wireless adapter and it worked fine. Now that it
has been moved here the ONLY thing changed was ifcfg-eth0 and the IP and
gateway information, and resolv.conf to put in my nameservers. It now has a
static IP, no firewall. The allstar address for status updates do resolve.
iptables is empty but I was asked to turn it off. I did with no change.

It has been suggested that if I feel that a port is blocked I changed 4569
to 4570 at allstarlink.org and in iax.conf. I don't see anywhere on the web
site where I change 4569 to 4570.

[harumph]
