The plug-in is Java. It should have installed with WinXP. If not you may obtain it at http://sunmicro.com. Once installed you will need to right-click on your microphone and authorize Java to use it.

Greetings from Texas-
I am a new account (std acct) user trying to use the web transceiver using Foxfire browser & running Zorin-os (Linux). Also using Foxfire browser & running WinXP & having same problem.
Web transceiver comes up ok & I can bring up a node, but nothing happens after that. The "help" under web transceiver does not work & neither does "setting audio". Nothing comes up.
When I bring up a node, there is a black/blank box on the right side that says I need a "plug in". What is the "plug in"? Is this something I need to continue accessing a node?
For the DTMF commands, do I use the keypad on the keyboard or something else? I have used DTMF commands to control a repeater/remote base via radio in the past, but not by computer before.
I am also an Echolink user.
