[App_rpt-users] Delay

My experience suggests that newer chipsets can have issues with the audio portion of the URI/URIx when using ACID. I've found the DMK test software and loop back plug to be a useful check; remember to stop asterisk before using. Also, on newer faster machines that do not have the Ethernet drivers that work with ACID required me to start with a standard Centos 5 build, then complete the ACID load on top of that, using the ACID scrips used after the first reboot. They may not work with the URI/URIx, but they make great hubs.

As for the delay, it can very... I just don't listen to both sides of the repeater communications at the same time. I've experienced delays that run anywhere from 1/4 to 1 secs, depending the total loop configuration.

Thanks,
Bob
