Thanks to those that replied. The docs did help. But I am still struggling with the uplink functionality to the area. Every time the All-Star system keys the repeater, the receiver seems to quit during the push to talk duration. It is almost like it is half duplex. 
If anyone has actually interfaces on to. URI, I would love to chat with you.
