Is anyone using XIPAR Internet Install Released 2013-02-23  ?

I am having so many hassles with a server install, I am starting to 
think I am using old software.

vtiger crm wont install - mysql root password problem.
Access control requests requests unknown username and password.

And just general non-workingness is widespread.


Any hints?
