I have been using Dial since its release and have no issues with the URI of course this is with the PC side but essentially the software is fairly close in both distributions.. Special shout out to Steve N4IRS he did a great job moving us away from Acid.. As far as tuning and adjusting which node you want to be connected to that URI I might suggest if your not already to use radio-tune-menu

Tab works if you get to radio- usually for auto complete... There you can adjust audio levels an swap URI with node numbers etc... Make sure you save before exiting the menu.. I am not sure if this works in Dial but in Acid days I remember modify the node number conf file that had been created via the radio-tune-menu up at the top of the file it use to point to the USB location I thought been awhile..

By chance are you new to Linux if so I did create some videos they are kinda long but they have been useful with others..

I disagree. URI Diag works in DIAL. URIDiag has problem on the Pi.
Works fine on a X86.

I chased this for awhile until I realized uridiag does not work with DIAL. Chasing that down was not up very high on anyone's list. I've chased URI and URIx issues, and the likelihood of it being the problem is slim to none. On the other hand, Bryan's suggestions are worth the time chasing :-)

Bob

As for usbradio... there is no audio as there is no audio in the uridiag program that is why I believe that it might be a driver. I have been trying to avoid reinstalling Dial or possibly doing a Virtual box install on another computer.
