Greetings,
Looking for some help on this.
I am running an embedded Allstarlink node here at my house that originally installed.
With the help of Jim we updated the software a few times many, many years ago.
I am running Limey-linux micro linux distribution version 1.1.2
Linux version 2.6.30.5 (srodgers at steverod) (gcc version 4.3.3 (GCC) ) #1 PREEMPT Sat Oct 9
18:51:49 PDT 2010
Since then Allstarlink has grown and we have issued out node numbers that are 4xxxx.
When I try and make a connection to a 4xxxx node I get the following.
calnet*CLI> rpt fun 2066 *349902
Node Variable dump for node 2066:
RPT_TXKEYED=1
RPT_RXKEYED=0
RPT_NUMLINKS=0

I sent this question to Steve Rodgers and this was his reply.

Subject: Re: Limey Linux Questions
Hi Marshall,
It's been a while, but as I recall, the 4xxxx number series was reserved for IRLP.
There's probably a 1 or more tests in the code for 4xxxx in app_rpt.c.
If your system is able to still compile Asterisk, Maybe someone who is local to you, and has
more time then I do, and
who knows C could take a look in the app_rpt.c file and find the lines which test for 4xxxx and
try commenting them out
and recompiling the code. Just make sure to save a copy the original app_rpt.c file in case
something goes terribly wrong.

Is there someone out there that is familiar with Limey Linux and how it works that can help me
out.
I am guessing that all the Limey Linux out there has the same problem with regards to
connecting to 4xxxx nodes.
Can we fix this issue and update the app.rpt.c?
Thanks
