Hi Bill,

That was me. I have ASL working great on a Pi Zero W with a CM108 FOB. Seems to handle it just fine, no CPU or memory issues! It’s using an updated version of the official AllStar image that’s not yet released. The current public version doesn’t have the CM108 drivers loaded, and I had to have help to load them so I can’t give you the step-by-step unfortunately. The good news is that when the new version is released, it should have native CM108 drivers.

Subject: [App_rpt-users] Allstar Link on a Pi Zero W

A little while back someone on here announced that they had ASL running properly on a Raspberry Pi Zero W. I was wondering if you wouldn't mind coming forward again as this is something I'd really like to try. I'm interested in the specific steps you took, the issues you had, etc.

Recently I tried using the apt-get install approach to getting ASL on a Pi Zero W. It seemed to install ok, but I think I must have missed something as I could never get Asterisk to start and run.

Thanks,

Bill Higgins
